NEWS | 15-01-2021Maestro Jacek Kraszewski, a director and an educationalist, a friend and a longtime associate of Szczecin Philharmonic, passed away. We are deeply saddened by the news about his death
Maestro Jacek Kraszewski cooperated with Szczecin Philharmonic for many years. Worth mentioning is the fact that he made his debut in Szczecin Philharmonic when he was on the second year of studies. He was a longtime director of the Castle Opera in Szczecin, an artistic director of Great Theatre in Poznań, a conductor of Men’s Choir „Słowiki60’, a highly valued academic teacher, and also a musical manager and the director of Gorzów Filharmonic.
As a director Maestro Jacek Kraszewski was a frequent visitor of not only Polish but also foreign symphonic and operatic bands.
Maestro, we are extremely grateful for an opportunity of working together and for beautiful memories which will stay with us forever.
