True Musicians Tournament 2025

Music flowing from the heart, the joy of making music, the purest musical truth. Competition, Festival, Meeting – this is a brief description of the True Musicians Tournament in Szczecin, which has been held continuously since 2015.

The main idea of the True Musicians Tournament is to create a space for dialogue between traditional culture in iłs raw form and contemporary living experience and the creation of tradition. The open format of the event encourages participation from all types of performers: folk musicians, traditional instrumentalists, reenactors, as well as contemporary interpreters who often combine traditional music with jazz, rock, electronic, experimental, or classical music in unconventional ways. We do not distinguish between professional and amateur musicians; we invite performers who have been accompanied by folk music since birth and who continue the traditions of their region, as well as those who consciously seek their individual artistic path in traditional music.
