The MUSIC.DESIGN.FORM Festival not only stands for concerts and events for adults, so just like last year we've made sure that the youngest music lovers will join us during the festival. Together with Michał Janocha we are preparing a musical and scientific spectacle, during which we will change sound into light, and like in a prism, we will "split" it.

Paweł Kula, a photographer and creator of non-standard photo cameras, will conduct these unusual photographic workshops for kids. Once again, we invite children together with their guardians to the Chamber Hall, where we will together do magic with the help of sound, light and image.

On Saturday, September 14th at 17:00 we will take the youngest participants of the festival on an artistic and scientific expedition. In an exceptional multimedia performance, we will explain the world of sound and light, their physicality and ... similarity. Yes, yes, sound and light are similar! To prove this, we will use modern technologies and "change" the sound of instruments into light. We will tell young music lovers the history of the prism and the first scientific experiments with light. We will also explain how the composers "split" the sound into individual bands with the help of the latest technologies. Michał Janocha, who will explain the complexity of music and physics, created special software for the spectacle, which, based on the sounds played by the ensemble, controls the visual aspect of the performance. Certainly there will be great fun, and also a dose of knowledge, both for the youngest and the experienced adult listeners.

The Festival Sunday, in turn will be the time for activities in smaller groups. On September 15th, in three age groups (at 10:00 ages 5-7, at 11:30 ages 8-10, at 13:00 ages 11-13), we will learn what role light plays in photography, how we see in very low light, what we see after closing the eyes and finally, if you can take a photo of something with these eyes? We will delve into the secrets of luxography, we will find out what a luminogram is, we will take pictures without a camera and we will learn about the reactions to light of various natural pigments. Together with the host Paweł Kula, we will also perform experiments with pinhole projectors that will reveal to us the phenomenon of camera obscura, the prototype of today's cameras. With the help of mirrors and lenses we will check if you can send the image to a distance. Thanks to all these experiments, we will understand how optical phenomena and light were combined in the invention of photography.

The Chamber Hall of the Philharmonic in Szczecin will be "taken over" by young festival-goers and will be transformed into a space of light and sound experiments. We invite all of you who are curious, both young and old, come now!
